Oman Unveils Plans for Three Agricultural Cities Worth RO 3 Billion
Oman’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, has announced the establishment of three new agricultural cities in Saham, Dhahirah, and the Najd region of Dhofar. Each city will cover approximately 50 square kilometers, aiming to enhance food security, create over 10,000 jobs, and contribute 2% to the nation’s GDP.
